True Grit: A Further Adventure is the made for TV sequel to the classic western film True Grit and Rooster Cogburn (1975). It stars Warren Oates, reprising John Wayne's famous role as U.S. Marshal Reuben J. 'Rooster' Cogburn. It was the pilot for a TV series, but was never picked up.
